Paying a long-term subscription for a budgeting or money tracking app seems a bit overkill. But as I continue to use it, and if I need more "accounts" for tracking, I feel okay with paying (I believe it's one time payment $8.98). The adverts aren't very frequent on the app, and I haven't found it to be a dealbreaker yet. My "virtual wallet" is tracked on Money Manager under different "accounts", with scuffed double-entry accounting to deal with the different outgoing sources (different bank savings accounts, credit card, cash) vs virtual wallet.Įvery few weeks or so I manually note down the values on my Money Manager and in my bank accounts to make sure they tally. Took inspiration from it and adjusted it to my needs. My budget planning is done on Google Sheets, based off the template by "Lisa's Adulting in Singapore". I use Realbyte Money Manager to track all money in/out. I'll probably use my phone to do most of the tracking.Īny thoughts, recos, input would be most appreciated. I don't mind a low subscription or a one time fee to remove ads, I don't need sync as I can key in my entries manually and a web based or desktop cross platform would be nice but not required. I've seen ynab, real byte money manager, money lover and spender recommended. This was asked several times but the posts are about a year old now so I thought I'd check again. It's 2023 and I've read about several budgeting / finance apps here but would love any long term reviews on the apps that you've been using. My wife will be leaving her job to care for our infant for the next year so I thought I should start tracking our expenses and my (our) savings. So I've been tracking my CC (a card for shared family) expenses on a Google Sheet (it ain't pretty) and I haven't really been tracking my family's other expenses properly. Hi everyone, super late to the party and just got started reading everything here.
